VERITAS JOURNAL OF HUMANITIES — Volume 7, Number 2, 2026
Articles are received from scholars within and outside the African continent. The journal is published biannually, including book reviews.
About the Journal
VERITAS JOURNAL OF HUMANITIES (VEJOH) is the journal of the Faculty of Humanities, Veritas University, Abuja. The philosophy of the journal is predicated on the four cardinal pillars of Afroconstructivity, Humanity, Society and Development. It is a multidisciplinary academic journal dedicated to the publication of original and well-researched papers in the areas of Arts, Humanities and the Social Sciences.
Specifically, it is open to articles across the disciplines listed below. The online version of the journal can be accessed at www.vejoh.org.

Guidelines to Authors
Originality
All manuscripts must be original and must not have been published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Submission Format
Manuscripts must be submitted electronically in MS Word format through the online portal at vejoh.org.
Length
The entire work must be within 6,000 words, or 15 to 20 pages in Times New Roman with double line spacing, excluding the final references.
Block Quotations
All in-text quotes above three lines should be single-line spaced and indented.
Required Elements
The paper must include a concise title, an abstract with at least 5 keywords, the full name of the author(s), institutional affiliation(s), email(s) and phone number(s).
Author Names
Names of author(s) should begin with the first name and end with the last name / surname.
Abstract
The abstract should be written in single-line spacing and should not be italicised.
Headings
All titles and subtitles should be in initial Uppercase.
Language
Manuscripts in French are accepted.
Referencing
All manuscripts are peer-reviewed and should be prepared using recent editions of any of the following referencing styles: MLA, APA and Chicago.
Indexing and Visibility
Digital Object Identifier (DOI)
VEJOH publishes with the DOI prefix 10.66809. Every accepted article receives a permanent DOI, making your research citable and discoverable worldwide.
ACJOL Indexing
The journal is indexed in the African Consortium of Journals Online (ACJOL), ensuring global visibility and accessibility of published research under rigorous peer review standards.
